It was about 9:09 a.m. when police received a call of an intruder at the 4450 N. Virginia Street business. The suspect reportedly threw a rock through the glass door and made entry.

The office was closed at the time but three employees were inside the building and one became involved in a struggle with the suspect. During the confrontation, there was a struggle over a firearm that was discharged but no one was struck.

Police arrived on the scene and were able to make an arrest but have not released the suspect's identity at this time. They tell us he will be charged with burglary, battery, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Additional charges are possible.
