Elko County authorities suspect speed and alcohol contributed to a collision of all-terrain vehicles that left one man dead and three others seriously injured in northeast Nevada.

Undersheriff Clair Morris tells KENV-TV that 33-year-old Jay Paul Setser of Rupert, Idaho, died when the ATV he was riding was struck from behind around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators say about 20 riders from Idaho were traveling in the backcountry. The riders had apparently stopped along Goose Creek Road southeast of Jackpot when two quads collided in a cloud of dust, causing the vehicles roll off the road.
Â
Three other men also from Rupert were seriously injured and flown to hospitals in Idaho.

They were identified Monday as Alan Wayne Brady, Jed Elmer Dansie and Jerued Kris Uscola. All are in their 30s. (AP)
