Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District knocked down a 1/4 acre brush fire this morning, as the weather continues to heat up- fire possibility increases.
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) responded to a brush fire this morning just North of Sun Valley off of Chimney Road/Drive.
TMFPD says when crews arrived on scene there was a fourth of an acre burning brush and abandoned debris.Â
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District tells they knocked down and mopped up the fire in about an hour.
There were no reported injuries and no structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
