A judge has sentenced a man to life in prison in a toddler's death. Eric Buhl will be eligible for parole after serving those 20 years.
Authorities say he was the caretaker of two-year-old Coahuyana Hernandez. She was transported to a local hospital where she died in March 2017.
Authorities say the Medical Examiner determined that the toddler died of the result of a 'homicide.'
He was charged with child abuse causing substantial bodily harm, possession of an explosive or incendiary device and child endangerment – a gross misdemeanor.
