Carson City deputies have a man in custody after they say he tried to run from them when they served a warrant Tuesday afternoon.
The sheriff says 23-year-old Jose Alberto Garcia-Perez drove away from deputies when they tried to serve a warrant for felony child luring and open and gross lewdness and statutory sexual seduction.
They say he crashed a short time later on Roop Street near Beverly Way and was eventually taken into custody after a brief struggle with deputies.
He is expected to face additional charges.
No other injuries were reported.
