Emmy award winner and long time member of CBS News, Jeff Glor, has been named anchor of CBS Evening News.
CBS made the announcement Wednesday. Glor will replace current interim anchor Anthony Mason who took over after Scott Pelly's departure in June.
Glor will start later this year.
