Chain controls are up on mountain roads in the Northern Nevada and California border areas. Check your commute, and prepare for the driving conditions.

California Highway Patrol, Truckee shared a round of chain requirements on I80 and SR-267.

Chain controls are required on SR-431 (Mount Rose Highway) unless the car has four wheel drive.
