Limbani the Chimpanzee warmed hearts with his moving reaction upon seeing the human couple who helped raise him.
Tania and Jorge, Limbani's former caregivers, say they can go a couple months without seeing Limbani but his reaction is always the same.
The chimp was born with pneumonia and rejected by his mother, according to the Zoological Wildlife Foundation.Â
They added that without human intervention and modern medicine he wouldn't been here today.
The foundation hopes that the attention that the video is getting online will inspire others to take action to help these creatures.Â
