The Eldorado's Christmas Show opens Tuesday evening at the Eldorado Showroom.
"Santa's Christmas Wonderland is a massive spectacular with about 25 dancers, four singers, Santa Claus, tap dancing, costumes, sets, lights," said Emma Kate Nelson, one of the singers. "The show has been running for about ten years and has been seen by about 5 million people."
Versions of the show have been seen all over the world and the performers are just as diverse.
"Everyone is so talented," said Shai Yammanee, a singer with the show. "We have performers from all over the world so it's an amazing melting pot of cultures; people from Japan, Australia, England, Europe, so it's really wonderful."
The cast has been rehearsing in the Eldorado Showroom for weeks.
"I love this theater," Nelson said. "For me, it's my first time in this part of America so I'm taking it all in. It's a really nice experience and everybody here is really friendly."
The show is a family-friendly one and runs on every night expect Mondays.
"We're performing on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, all the way up to December 29th," Yammanee said. "It's a great way to spend the holidays and we want everyone to have a good time and leave happy and full of the Christmas spirit."
A special performance on December 13th will benefit the local chapter of the Salvation Army. Proceeds will stay here locally to help families in need this holiday season.
