Nevada Highway Patrol says there is a crash on I-580 between Oddie and McCarran.
NHP says it is a three car crash. They say a Toyota SUV was traveling southbound on I-580 when a Dodge truck affected their driving pattern and the SUV jumped the center concrete median barrier, entering the northbound fast lane. The SUV then struck a Ford truck, head on.
Officials say tow trucks are en route and three people have been transported to the hospital where no major injuries have been reported at this time.
Traffic is backed up in both directions going both northbound and southbound. They say one lane is open in both directions.
Please avoid the area and find an alternate route.
