The Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) says they assisted Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) with a house fire in the area of Winchester Drive and Remington Road in Golden Valley.
They evacuated the area while this incident was happening
Our crew on scene says the fire has been knocked down.
TMFPD says the fire started in the garage and is under investigation.
They say two occupants and two pets evacuated and are safe.
TMFPD says the house is about a 60% loss.
They say Red Cross will provide assistance
