Washoe County deputies say a suspicious item found near Eastlake Blvd. in Washoe Valley Tuesday afternoon was actually part of a scavenger hunt.
Authorities tell us someone saw the unidentified item around 12:30pm on Tuesday and reported it to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies have since said the item is harmless, and reopened Eastlake Boulevard.
Deputies say the item was deemed suspicious because of “how the item was wrapped."
