Jennifer Burton: Puppies and people came together today to for "Dogs with Hearts of Gold", an event raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Our own Arianna Bennett emceed the event as people mingled with the puppies in training and heard heartwarming personal stories about how irreplaceable guide dogs can be. 

Janet Benjamin, Guide Dogs for the Blind: Our wonderful guide dogs and puppies in training... are trained to work with visually impaired people.

Burton: They also talked about how irreplaceable the local community has been, helping support the cause. 

Christine Benninger, President/CEO of Guide Dogs for the Blind: you know we're here with the Reno Community supporting guide dogs for the blind... we are thrilled absolutely thrilled with the turn out and the support here today. 

Burton: 100% of the funds raised today go towards veterinary bills and program costs for Guide Dogs for the Blind based in San Rafael, California.
