Sparks police are investigating a train accident that occurred early this morning.Â
Police got the call of the accident just before 12:30 a.m. Â
The accident occurred near the Galletti and Kietzke intersection close to Barnett way. That's where a pedestrian was hit by the train.
Both Sparks Police and Union Pacific Police were called to the scene. Parts of Galletti were closed while they were investigating.
The person has not been identified, but Sparks Police confirm the pedestrian was killed in the accident.
