The Elko County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) says on Monday deputies responded to the area of Elburz off of I-80 after receiving a call that a man had been struck by a Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) train.
They say deputies, along with the UPRR Police searched the area and located a man's body.
The identity of the man is unknown at this time.
