Sunday was Mother's Day, and for many people that means a traditional Mother's Day brunch. Every year, the Atlantis Casino Resort holds a Mothers Day Dining Buffet for this special Day. The amount of food at the Atlantis Casino Resort's Mother's Day Dining buffet is extraordinary. We use 150 pounds of shrimp and then we use about 50 pounds of tenderloin, said organizing chef Sergio Martinez.

Food was on display, but it was the love of moms that really filled the room. Everyone celebrates Mother's Day in different ways. We got a little dressed up and I got a massage for Mother's Day, said mother Kelly Jakinovich. We went for a walk in the park bright and early, said mother Melanie Brown. Im not getting cast out of the family. It's Mother's Day. You have to come with a gift I feel, said Natalie Gondry who is celebrating Mothers Day.

The day always seems to culminate with the Mother's Day meal. We dont want them to do the dishes. We don't want them to cook. We want to celebrate them today and that's what its all about, said Atlantis Assistant Executive Chef David Holman.

For one table, Mother's Day at the Atlantis is extra special, because 4 generations have come to celebrate. We teach our grandchildren about life and culture. We teach them about whats right and wrong. It's just important for everyone to be together and honor Mothers on Mother's Day, said grandmother and mother Niki Zumoff. We're not going to be around for these little kids as they grow up. So they'll have happy memories of their grandmas and great grandmas, said great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother Sue Thibault. We show our kids how we love and show affection. You can only do that by being with the people who teach you how to be the person that you are, said mother Bree Zumoff.  We enjoy just being with family. And we didn't have to cook. And I hope I don't have to do dishes, said Sue Thibault.

The chefs of the Atlantis say that it took a couple days to prep the food for the Mother's Day Dining Buffet. It took a day and a half to just set up the room for the event.
