A bill aimed at expanding access to breast cancer screening is moving forward in the Nevada Legislature.
Senate Bill 330 passed a committee Friday morning.
The bill would eliminate out-of-pocket costs for diagnostic and supplemental breast imaging when medically necessary.
This could include MRI's, ultrasounds, and diagnostic mammograms.
According to the National Cancer Institute, breast cancer currently has the highest treatment costs of any cancer.
