Carson Valley Health is holding a community health fair in Gardnerville this weekend.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Carson Valley Health Hospital Campus, 1107 US Highway 395 North in Gardnerville.
The community can get free glucose testing and flu shots, blood pressure checks, MyChart registration, nutrition information, and strength testing.
The Nevada Cancer Coalition will also bring giant inflatable lungs to explore.
People can also learn more about Medicare Open Enrollment which ends on December 7.
Open enrollment for Medicare plans begins Thursday and enrollees will face a slew of changes that go into effect in 2027.
