Our Someone 2 Know is an accomplished violinist, an award-winning artist and a philanthropist - Juliette Leong has donated more than $170,000 to help blood cancer patients.

Even more remarkable - has achieved all this by the age 8!

Juliette plays a familiar song for us.

"Believer, Imagine Dragons”.

Leong says she loves it!

If watching an eight-year-old enthusiastically play a modern song on a classic violin is impressive, you haven't seen anything yet - Juliette Leong can also play while roller skating.

Plus, she paints - a lot.

“I started painting when I was about eight months old. I mean, not with a paint brush, but finger painting,” she giggles.

Juliette's home has a small gallery of her work, but most of her art is sold to raise money for AADP - the Asian American Donor Program. “My first auction, my painting sold for about $300. Fast forward four years, my paintings are currently being sold for over $17,000 each.”

Money that the Asian American Donor Program uses to help patients desperate for a bone marrow transplant.

When Juliette heard about it, she wanted to help.

“I learned about a nine-month-old baby who was dying of leukemia because they could not find a bone marrow donor.”

Though she's very mature for her age, the eight-year-old Leong also enjoys being a kid. “Of course, playing with my friends, reading and painting!”

“Yea, I also love doing LEGOs. Like LEGO Mario”

Juliette says she also likes competing and performing.

“I love performing because I love sharing the music with the world.”
