A fire started on Tuesday evening in the Douglas County Foothill area.
Authorities advised residents in the Old Kingsbury Neighborhood off Mottsville to evacuate, including Apple Creek, Foothill and Mottsville, but those were lifted not longer after.Â
The fire was contained around 11 p.m.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
Foothill Road and Kingsbury Grade are open. Mottsville was closed for a time while crews worked in the area.
