Cookies for Kindness has partnered with the Bridge Church, Altrusa International of Reno/Sparks, Katie Grace Foundation and others to host the 3rd Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner Kits and Meals.Â
Due to the huge need in our community and the need for social distancing, the event has been expanded to include dinner kits with frozen turkeys and all of the fixings needed to cook a Thanksgiving Dinner at home.
Dinner Kits will be distributed at the Bridge Church parking lot, 1330 Foster Drive on Nov. 23, 24 and 25 from 10Â A.M.-4 P.M.
Meal kits are available to anyone who may just need a little help this Thanksgiving.
Sign up for meal kits is required, to sign up click here by Friday, Nov. 20.
In addition to meal kits, Cookies for Kindness will be serving individual hot meals to the community on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.
Instead of indoor dining, meals will be served by contactless drive-thru.
There is no signup needed for hot meals which will be served while supplies last.
Cookies for Kindness owner, Thomas Hill said, "It's the community coming together to help our neighbors."
