The Reno Fire Department (RFD) responded to a gas leak at the Boulders Apartments on Tuesday just after 12 p.m.
They say a resident was anchoring a TV bracket to a wall and hit a gas line.
RFD says the apartment was evacuated while they monitored to see where the gas traveled and shut off utilities.
They say the gas did not ignite and they ventilated the apartment.
RFD says the complex is now secure and everyone is allowed back in.
