Thousands of doses of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines have now been administered to frontline and other Tier 1 essential workers across Nevada.
Governor Sisolak on Wednesday tweeted since Pfizer vaccines were distributed in Nevada on December 14th, 15,207 doses have been administered.
Moderna's vaccine started being distributed this week and so far, 940 doses have been administered.
That means, Nevada has administered 16,147 vaccines, so far.Â
Governor Sisolak says the state is using CDCÂ recommendations for prioritizing vaccines, including incorporating those who are 75 and older now into Tier 2. Sisolak says the Immunization team is working to update the playbook to include new guidance to be announced sometime next week.
