Skin problems and irritation are typical signs that winter is here.
In 2020, all the hand washing is accentuating that for a lot of people. According to Dr. Amanda Magrini, Family Physician at the Northern Nevada Medical Center, there are things you can do to help.Â
"Mix a little bit of Aquaphor and Cetaphil or another unscented lotion, doing that at night and putting gloves, a nice pair of cotton gloves, can help turn that bleeding and cracked skin away," says Magrini.
She also says washing your hands after the second or third time you have used hand sanitizer can help fight dry skin.Â
"To a certain degree you get what you pay for and some of the fillers in other potential inexpensive lotions can tend to dry your skin more, so you may find yourself in the same position," says Magrini.
