Law Enforcement Presence Cleared After Alleged Abduction Ruled Out

Police presence near Oneida St. has cleared

Carson City Sheriff's Office (CCSO) says a law enforcement presence on Oneida Street in Carson City has cleared after several hours.

According to CCSO, late Friday night, Tribal Police responded to reports of several women being battered and one woman allegedly being abducted in Carson Colony.

Around 5 p.m. Saturday, Tribal Police responded to reports that the alleged suspects and woman who was allegedly abducted had partially barricaded in a house.

The FBI, S.W.A.T., CCSO and Carson City Fire Department also responded.

After several hours, the woman who had allegedly been abducted came out of the house.

She was examined for injuries. CCSO says medical crews on site found no substantial injuries on the woman that would point to abduction.

While being interviewed, the woman reportedly denied being abducted.

According to CCSO, the FBI ruled out abduction. The FBI, S.W.A.T. and CCSO then cleared the scene.

Tribal Police are continuing to investigate.
