The Reno Police Department says one man has been arrested after stabbing a victim late Saturday night.
Officers were called out to St. Mary's Hospital on a report of a stabbing around 10:30 p.m. The victim was transported to Renown for surgery, but the victim's injuries are not life threatening.
Officers then learned of a possible location of the stabbing. They responded to the 3600 block of Gypsum Road and located a suspect covered in blood. The suspect was later identified as 30-year-old Skyler Diaz. Diaz was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon and transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility.
