UPDATE: As of November 23rd, the Mountain View Fire is 70% contained, with the fire size at 20,385 acres. The Antelope Valley Fire Department says the other 30% of the fire is under snow, and the snow melt is helping to extinguish the fire.
The Antelope Valley Fire Department says residents can get updates from the Mono County Sheriff's Office and the Antelope Valley Fire Department by tuning to 1610 on the AM radio dial.
The Mono County Sheriff's Office says the evacuation orders lifted on November 22nd at 8:00 a.m. for the Walker area. They assigned a re-entry point for residents. Residents can access the necessary paperwork for re-entry here.

Officials say the firefighters have made good progress on the northern side of the fire as winds die down in the area. They say the fire activity within the perimeter is minimal.
The Mono County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) says the person who died as a result of the fire is 69-year-old Sallie Joseph. They say she was found in the debris of her burned home on Lone Company Road. Her family has been notified.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but the erratic and high speed winds quickly spread the fire into the surrounding residential neighborhood. Within hours, more than 90 structures burned, including several homes.
MCSO says the Mountain View Fire is the largest and most destructive fire in Mono County in recent memory.
"The loss of life, homes and property is devastating to our community," says Sheriff Ingrid Braun.
If you need shelter, the Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP) at Carson Valley Inn, 1627 Highway 395 North, Minden, NV, remains in place. Red Cross provides rooms for displaced residents.
170 people were sheltered on Tuesday night, and 127 people were sheltered on Wednesday night.

The Mountain View Fire in Walker Canyon is currently 20800 acres and is 20% contained. Forward progress was stopped on Wednesday. US-395 remains closed from Bridgeport to the Nevada state line.
The Mono County Sheriff's Office says US-395 is set to reopen at 2:00 p.m., and evacuation orders will be lifted for residents on the west side of US-395. Evacuations on the east of US-395 will be reassessed in 24 hours.
Shelter assistance has been established at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. Residents who need assistance can contact the inn at (775) 782-9711.
The Mono County Sheriff's Office says one person has died in the fire and at least 88 homes and outbuildings were destroyed. There were three civilian injuries and one firefighter had a minor injury.
Authorities believe the fire started near Mountain View BBQ in Walker, but the fire was not linked to the restaurant.
Large animals can be taken to the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Liberty Utilities says power will remain out in the Coleville/Walker area for safety as crews work to put out the fire. Crews are standing by to make repairs and restore power as quickly as possible.
Fire crews expect to be on scene for the next eight to ten days.
