Multi-Agency Wildland Drill in Tahoe Donner Area Tuesday

From the Truckee Fire Protection District:

Truckee Fire, US Forest Service, CALFIRE and the Town of Truckee are hosting a multi-agency wildland drill Tuesday from 8:00am until 3:00 pm.  This is a training put on by the North Tahoe Training Officers Association (NTTOA) which is all the local fire agencies in the area training on a multi-faceted scenario, which includes wildland fires,(WUI) Wildland urban interface  areas, police tactics on road closures, along with community officials helping to manage a theoretical wildland incident in our area  Expect to see fire agencies from all around the greater Lake Tahoe area, Reno and even as far away as Sacramento.

Please be careful and expect delays in the areas of Tahoe Donner that exit on to Alder Creek Rd near the lower Wolfgang area along with areas by the ski hill Slalom/ Snowpeak Rd which will be used as a staging spot.
