The Nevada Department of Corrections says an inmate has died at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.Â
Authorities say Bruce E. Wilkie died last Friday. Prior to his hospitalization, he was housed at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center.Â
The 61-year-old was committed from Clark County on December 3, 1992, and was serving a life sentence for first degree murder and use of a deadly weapon enhancement.
An autopsy is being scheduled to determine the cause of death.Â
