No. 14/17 Nevada (29-4) fell 65-56 to San Diego State (21-12) in the semifinals of the Air Force Reserve Mountain West Championship on Friday night in Las Vegas. Â
The Wolf Pack lost to the Aztecs for the second year in row in the semifinals.
The 56 points scored is a season low. Â The previous low was 57 at SDSU on Feb. 20.
Fourth-year head coach Eric Musselman is 110-33 at Nevada and 6-3 at the MW Championships.
Cody Martin led the Pack in scoring for the second time this season finishing with 16 points.
Tre’Shawn Thurman posted his fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
After playing in 104 consecutive games senior forward Jordan Caroline missed his first game at Nevada tonight. Â Caroline had started 62 consecutive games. Â
