Reno Police have identified four local businesses that failed alcohol compliance checks last week.
On Friday, November 17th members of the Regional Detective Division of the Reno Police Department conducted an underage alcohol compliance check.
During the operation, a 19-year-old volunteer was used to check 11 businesses. Of those 11 businesses checked, 4 businesses failed the compliance check and served or sold alcohol to the volunteer.
In each instance, the volunteer provided their actual state issued identification, if they were asked for it, clearly identifying them as underage patrons.
Businesses that failed the check included Shop N Go on Moana Lane, Alibi Lounge on Casaza Drive, Coach's Grill & Bar on South Virginia Street and Z-Bar on South Virginia Street.
The operation was conducted in partnership with Join Together Northern Nevada.
Anyone having information regarding the sales of alcohol to underage minors is encouraged to contact the Reno Police Department at (775) 325-6470, or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900 and www.secretwitness.com.
