On Friday, the California Department of Water Resources conducted its third snow survey of the season at Phillips Station.
Despite the storms we got last week, they found the snowpack is just 47% of average at that location and 57% of average statewide.
They say there's only about a month left to get more moisture to get us back to average before April 1 - when the snowpack typically peaks for the year.
