A driver is accused of stealing a car from the Sacramento area, then crashing it near Donner Pass Road.
It happened a little after noon on Tuesday.
Officers with the Truckee Police Department say they caught the driver hiding along the Donner Creek bank shortly after.
The suspect, identified as Andrew Coleman, is currently being held without bail on a parole violation.
