The California Highway Patrol arrested a driver for DUI after a trailer being pulled by the driver tipped over and officers stopped to investigate.
In the course of their investigation, CHP officers determined the driver was under the influence.
"Thankfully, this one ended with an overturned trailer and not a tragedy," said a post from CHP Truckee on Facebook. "If you drink, don’t drive… especially when you’re towing a few extra thousand pounds behind you."
