The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Fog Advisory for several areas until 11am on Monday.Â
NWS says visibility will be one quarter mile or less in the freezing fog.
The advisory affects Lassen, Eastern Plumas, and Eastern Sierra Counties in California. In Nevada, the advisory affects Northern Washoe County, the Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake, and Greater Reno, Carson City and Minden areas.
Low visibility may make driving conditions hazardous along Highway 447 from Fernley to Gerlach, Pyramid Highway through Palomino Valley and Highway 395 through the Honey Lake Valley from Stateline to Susanville. Roads may also be slick.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
