A parade of champions, hometown connections and some of rodeo’s biggest stars are set to take center stage tonight as the Reno Rodeo enters its third PRCA performance, giving fans plenty of reasons to keep their eyes on the arena from the opening event to the final ride.

Several past Reno Rodeo champions and some of the sport’s biggest names are scheduled to compete tonight during the third PRCA rodeo performance of the 2026 Reno Rodeo, which features NV Energy Power of Good Night.

Bareback riding will feature reigning Reno Rodeo champion Jess Pope, who makes his first Reno appearance of the week. Pope captured the 2025 bareback riding title with 255.5 points on three head.

Team roping brings multiple past Reno champions back into the arena. Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira, who won the Reno Rodeo team roping title in 2023, are scheduled to compete. Driggers also won Reno in 2012 alongside Fallon’s Jade Corkill. Corkill returns tonight with veteran header Clint Summers. Andrew Ward, the 2024 Reno Rodeo team roping champion, is also scheduled to rope with Jake Long.

The saddle bronc riding field includes several Reno Rodeo champions. Statler Wright, the 2022 co-champion and 2023 champion, is scheduled to compete alongside Ryder Wright, who won the title in 2024, and Jesse Wright, the 2011 champion.

Stetson Wright is also entered in saddle bronc riding and is scheduled to compete later in the night in bull riding. With entries in both events, he remains one of the performance’s top all-around storylines.

Mitch Pollock brings a strong Nevada connection to the saddle bronc competition. The Winnemucca native, now based in Idaho, grew up in a ranching family and transitioned from college baseball to saddle bronc riding following shoulder surgery before qualifying for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo. Nevada competitor Hank Whitaker of Deeth is also scheduled to compete in saddle bronc riding.

Tie down roping includes past Reno Rodeo champion Michael Otero, who won the event in 2015. Otero is joined on tonight’s roster by his wife, barrel racer Carlee Otero.

In breakaway roping, Taylor Munsell returns as the defending Reno Rodeo champion after winning back-to-back titles in 2024 and 2025. Also scheduled to compete is Jackie Crawford, a 23-time WPRA world champion and one of the most decorated competitors in rodeo history.

Bull riding features 2024 Reno Rodeo champion Tristen Hutchings and Stetson Wright, who won both the all-around and bull riding titles in Reno in 2025.

Among the past Reno Rodeo champions scheduled to compete tonight are Pope, Otero, Driggers, Nogueira, Ward, Corkill, Statler Wright, Ryder Wright, Jesse Wright, Stetson Wright, Munsell and Hutchings.
