A collision between two guests at Northstar California Resort earlier this week resulted in the death of one of them.
It happened on February 15 on the advanced Polaris trail, according to a release from the resort.
One guest was pronounced dead at the scene by the Northstar Fire Department. The other was taken to Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee for treatment.
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic event, and the Northstar team extends our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends of the guests involved,” said Tara Schoedinger, General Manager of Northstar.
