One person is now in custody after an earlier pursuit closed a portion of U.S. 50 in Meyers.
CHP in South Lake Tahoe announced the update just before 9 a.m.
CHP says multiple agencies were on scene after conducting a felony stop, near South Upper Truckee Road.
They asked drivers to avoid the area as negotiators handled the situation and since then, one person was placed in police custody.
