Six people in southern California have been arrested in connection with a crime tourism ring.
The group faces multiple federal charges including wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy.
The crime operation was run out of a rental car business, according to officials. The suspects would use high-end cars to blend into the communities where they targeted houses for burglary.
The group is accused of organizing more than 100 thefts in 80 cities in California and throughout the rest of the country, dating back to early 2018.
