A chairwoman for the Clark County Republican Party has filed an election integrity violation report against actions taken by Attorney General Aaron Ford.

AG Ford announced his candidacy for governor of Nevada earlier this year.

The complaint, filed by Jill Douglass, alleges that he violated the Nevada Revised Statutes for campaign practices during a blackout period.

The current Nevada Legislative Special Session qualifies as a blackout period, and Douglass says AG Ford failed to close his fundraising period until at least the day after the Special Session was announced.

We've reached out to AG Ford for a comment, but have yet to hear back.
