The Eddy has announced it will close permanently on November 8.
In a statement, The Eddy said the decision was difficult but pointed to the negative business impacts expected from the Regional Transportation Commission's Sierra Street Bridge project, scheduled to run from April 2027 through summer 2028.
The business also cited the landowner's unwillingness to renew its ground lease under what it considered reasonable terms.
The Sierra Street Bridge project is expected to bring construction to the area for more than a year, potentially affecting nearby businesses.
