Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada hosted their "Raise the Roof to End Poverty" fundraiser Saturday afternoon.
During the event KBUL Radio DJ JJ Christy stood on the roof of Catholic Charities in his underwear, remaining there until the fundraiser hit its goal.
The event has its roots in the pandemic when social distancing created a need for an innovative fundraising approach.
As of the most recent update, this year's event has so far raised $140,000.
