A driver killed in a crash April 19 on U.S. 50 near mile marker 11 in Douglas County has been identified as 20-year-old Angel Vega of Carson City.

According to Nevada State Police, a Toyota Rav4 was traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 when it struck a Toyota Camry heading westbound.

Vega was driving the Toyota; he was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene.

The driver of the Rav4 was taken to the hospital with injuries. Passengers in both cars were also taken to the hospital. They're conditions have not been released.

One person died in a crash on U.S. 50 Sunday morning. 

The Nevada Highway Patrol it happened just before 5 a.m. on U.S. 50 near the intersection of State Route 28.

It is a two-vehicle crash with one person confirmed dead.  Three other people are being treated at a local hospital with serious injuries.   Â
