Burning Man is set to kick off next week, and the Great Reno Balloon Race is set to begin in a couple of weeks, and both events are set to continue as planned.
Burners are starting to come into the area ahead of Burning Man, and organizers are asking them to follow all evacuation orders and road closures.
They are also being asked not to enter affected areas or use routes to try and get around closures.
Meanwhile, parts of Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, where the Balloon Race is held, were previously in evacuation areas.
The race is set to take place from September 10th to the 13th, and organizers say the plan is to carry on with the event as scheduled.
