A fire has broken out to the east of Carson City.
Smoke can be seen on the McClellan Peak Alert Wildfire Camera.
According to the Carson City Fire Department, the fire was about 2.5 acres and took place at a landfill in the area. It began around 2:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported, and no evacuations or road closures took place.
