The size of a wildfire near Spanish Springs High School has been revised.
According to a post from Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue, the fire grew to a size of five and a half acres before being suppressed.
Fire crews were able to stop the fire from threatening homes or buildings.

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue has stopped forward progress on a small brush fire.
In a post to their X page, TMFR says the School Fire burned about two acres before firefighters stopped its progress.
The fire broke out near Spanish Springs High School.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time, but there were reports of multiple lightning strikes in the area.
