The Elko County Fire Protection District (ECFPD) has shared details of a wildfire that broke out on Sunday afternoon.
According to a recent post on Facebook, ECFPD says that the fire broke out near the Elko Gun Range.
Due to a quick response, the fire was kept to under one acre.
Crews and personnel responding to the fire included City of Elko Fire, Elko County Fire, the Bureau of Land Management, NDF and the U.S. Forest Service.
