Carson City Firefighters saved the lives of two residents during an early morning fire in Carson City.
Just after 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Carson City Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home on fire where two people were trapped.
Firefighters were on the scene in five minutes and saw the fire and heavy smoke coming from the home.
The firefighters entered the home, found the two trapped people, and quickly removed them. They were immediately rushed to Carson Tahoe RMC by firefighter paramedics.
The fire was confined to a single room, but the home suffered extensive smoke damage.
The residents were alerted to the fire by a working smoke alarm, and were trying to get out of the house when they were located and rescued.
Carson City Fire was assisted by the Truckee Meadows and East Fork Fire Districts.
