The City of Reno is inviting seniors to see a movie for free on Thursday, June 20, as part of the Reno Seniors EngAGED program.
Seniors 60 and older will be able to receive a free ticket to one movie, and one free snack from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Cinemark Century Riverside Theaters at 11 North Sierra Street.
Registration is required, and you can register by clicking this link. You must register before Monday, June 17 to participate.
“The event is more than the chance to watch a movie,” said Izabella Baumann, Senior Coordinator at the City of Reno. “It’s a chance to connect with friends and neighbors. Social interactions are essential, one’s wellbeing, especially as we grow older.”
