The Sparks Fire Department, REMSA, Sparks Police, and NV Energy all responded to a gas leak in the area of Burtin Drive and Lawry around 3 a.m. on December 16.
NV Energy says that a driver hit a gas meter and caused an outage affecting 41 customers in that area.
NV Energy crews stayed on scene throughout the morning, making repairs to shut off the gas leak.
All repairs were completed by 7 a.m. and power was restored to all customers by 10:15 a.m.
